Payment Methods

  • Terrapin Express Card: Swipe your UMD ID at the WEPA™ kiosk in order to use your Terrapin Express account. You must have sufficient funds in your account in order to print.

  • Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover; please note that a $0.40 transaction fee will be applied to all credit/debit card purchases.

  • WEPA™ Debit Account: Prints may be paid for with a WEPA™ debit account. To create an account, visit www.wepanow.com, and click Register in the top right corner to create an account. Once you are logged in, funds can be added to your WEPA™ debit account via credit or debit card. By paying to print using your WEPA™ account, you can avoid paying the credit/debit card surcharge. Please note, however, that you do not need to create a WEPA™ account in order to print.

How to Print

There are four ways to print using a WEPA™ kiosk. You do not need to create an account with WEPA™; you simply need to log in with your UMD Directory ID and Password. Your University ID card will be able to be used to log in at the WEPA™ kiosk after this first login.

  1. From Your Computer With WEPA™ Printer Driver Installed
    • When printing your document, select either the Color or Black and White WEPA™ printer.
    • Login using your UMD Directory ID followed by @umd.edu (with no spaces) and UMD Directory Password.
    • Go to the WEPA™ kiosk and either claim your print job by entering the release code, by swiping your University ID card, or by logging into your WEPA™ account at the kiosk.
  2. From the Web (For Files Up To 20MB)
    • Login at www.wepanow.com using your UMD Directory ID followed by @umd.edu (with no spaces) and UMD Directory Password.
    • Click on Web Upload under Shortcuts.
    • Click on Choose File and select the document you wish to print.
    • Click on Upload.
    • Adjust your options, including Print Range, Color Options, and Basic Options, and then click on Send to WEPA™.
    • Your file will be uploaded to the WEPA™ server for printing at a WEPA™ kiosk. You may now upload more documents, or logout.
    • Go to the WEPA™ kiosk and either claim your print job by entering the release code, by swiping your University ID card, or by logging into your WEPA™ account at the kiosk.
  3. From USB Thumb Drive
    • Go to any WEPA™ kiosk.
    • On the main screen, select Print from USB.
    • Insert your USB drive into the USB slot. Documents printed directly from a USB drive must be either a PDF or a Microsoft Office file (.doc, .xls, .ppt, etc.).
  4. From an Android or iOS Smartphone

    • Log in to the app using your UMD Directory ID followed by @umd.edu (with no spaces) and UMD Directory Password.
