Terp Services provides skilled temporary staff to accommodate University of Maryland departmental requests for a wide range of positions. Terp Services personnel can fill in for vacationing staff members, provide additional staffing during unusually high workload periods or departmental vacancies, and provide support for special projects. Terp Services staff are available to work on-site in a department or to complete work, such as transcription of tapes and dissertations, in the Terp Services office. Through the use of Terp Services, departments can reduce recruiting, training, and overhead costs.
