Daily rates include unlimited miles per day. An additional surcharge of $5.00 will apply for all one-day rentals commencing on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
CorpRate rates are not available at New York's JFK and LaGuardia airports and Manhattan locations during weekends and specified holiday periods. CorpRate rates may not be available at some locations during peak demand or special event periods.
In addition, for business rentals reserved utilizing the University of Maryland BCD number (T586400) at Budget participating locations within the United States and rented for "business purposes," Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is a component in the rental rate, and therefore, the University of Maryland will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the rented vehicle, whether due to theft, collision, vandalism, or any other cause not expressly excluded under the terms and conditions of the applicable Budget standard rental agreement or master rental agreement. A rental shall be considered to be for "business purposes" if the renter is reimbursed the cost of such rental by the University of Maryland or if the rental is otherwise paid for by the University of Maryland, and Budget is presented with satisfactory evidence of same. The market price of Loss Damage Waiver (LDW), where available, is in the range of $6.00 to $19.99 per day. Since this is automatically included in the Budget CorpRate rate, please initial "Decline LDW" on your rental agreement. You must use University of Maryland BCD number (T586400) to receive the no-cost LDW.
