The Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Secure Flight program
transfers the responsibility for passenger watch list screening from the
airlines to the TSA. In an effort to more accurately identify
passengers, persons making reservations for flights on or after August
15, 2009 will need to provide the passenger’s full name, date of birth,
and gender at the time the reservation is made.
For additional information about the program and how it affects current
and future flight reservations, contact one of the University contract
travel agencies or visit
the TSA website.
